Guide to Caring for your PrintPlay Products

Caring for a 3D-printed product whether it be a plant pot or similar – is the same as caring for any other type of product, with a few considerations specific to the material of the print. Here are a few notes to keep in mind for when it comes to taking care of your newly adopted PrintPlay product.

Plant Pots Care

Using your new plant pot

Do not plant directly into the 3D printed pot. The planter does not come with drainage holes therefore it is recommended to use the included inner pot. This will prevent water from collecting at the bottom.

Where to place your planter

All PrintPlay planter/planter pots are designed to be used indoors. While a little sunlight won’t hurt, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight could cause the pot to fade over time. For durability, consider placing it in indirect light or a spot with filtered sunlight.

Watering your plants

Water your plant according to its specific needs, but avoid over-watering. It’s important not to allow the pot to sit in excess water.

Cleaning your planter

To clean the pot, simply wipe it with a damp cloth or use a gentle brush to remove dust or dirt from the surface. Avoid abrasive cleaning materials that could scratch the surface of the pot.
